Great stuff and we should have won it in the end. Stats don't really tell the true story. Chelsea had more shots but we created the better chances.

That's 4 Home draws against the big 4 - not bad. The downside was the 4 defeats away against them. At least they are now all out of the way, so perhaps it's onwards and upwards from now. Oh and 2 points away from Premiership security. Not that West Ham fans would agree with me of course (42 pts and relegated).....I am happy with our result and performance, stopping Chelsea from 10 consecutive wins and 10 against us as well.

we were fantastic today, and dave is right this is a case where if you 'only' look at the stats you'll think 'pompey were lucky' but we were not at all - we had a stone wall penalty too...

I think this was a great result. Bottom line there will be many saying they were missing a number of big name players, however we wernt??? I think that the team today with Muntari, Diop, Kanu, Utaka incorporated in, will be the best team we have had in at least 50years. Am I going over the top? I dont know, but with players like Diarra, who was outstanding today, Defoe, Kranjcar, James, Distan, Capbell, Johnson.....I am in dreamland, and am thoroughly looking forward to a European tour next year.....(touch wood)

So it was the two new guys that saved you lot then...guess that says alot about your team...
Blue is the colour
Colour, you are being a complete pr1ck. Shuffle back to your cave.

its always blatantly obvious when someone who clearly hasnt seen the game - maybe hasn't even listened to it - comes along isnt it... yep Blue is the colour im talking about you... i think it was the 2 or 3 'new boys' chelski had that saved them today - im talking about howard webb and his 2 'assistants'...
pompeyrug
Blue obviously wants a row, for the record, today was 2 equally matched teams playing football the right way, both wanted 3 pts, and both tried to get them, credit to Chelsea, but then we are little Pompey aren't we?

Excellent result today fellas, hilarious to see BITC being all bitter and grumpy too, how dare you have the audacity to put the brakes on his bunch of 300 mill costing mercenary packed grinders lol. Cheers from all at The Arsenal anyhow and all the best for the rest of the season. (Don't get too attached to Diarra though - blokes a club***** :0 )
nikolaijns
the asterisks was $.l.u.t btw

you'd have thought they lost wouldn't you the way he's gone on :-) diarra has been immense since he signed - i think we'll do well to keep him too long, but im hoping - maybe nievely - that he will 'fall in love' with the club and if we keep moving forward he will want to stay for a while longer than just the end of this season...
