What can I say but typical Pompey away performance against the top 4. Our once strong point, defence, is starting to look very out of touch, sluggish and lacking in pace. I honestly think this will be Sol's final season with us.

Baros is clearly unfit.

baros should not have played, sol is getting on a bit, and whislt you would not say our defence is getting weaker (10 clean sheets, second highest...highest before the game...in the PL), although erratic is a word that is probably more apropriate. but there was very little they could do to stop either goal!

Any news on Ditsin? On sky they said hamstring. The defence is missing Diop & Muntari. The forwards are missing Diop & Muntari. It was always going to be tough for Baros tonite. It's the winnable games against Bolton & Sunderland that we have to think about. Be grateful we only lost by 2 & not 10.

the only way for baros to get match sharp is to play carpet in all fairness... yep i think you are right Whizz, i think i'll be surprised to see sol stay with us next season tbh - we cant afford to lose distin to too long and injury or were screwed!

If Distin has done a hamstring we are going to be in trouble as we are very weak in cover for that area. I wonder if Arry will pull in a last minute defensive signing?
