I watch the full game on Sky 'Live' and then watched the highlights on Match of the Day 2 last night... It looked worse condensed.. Not wanting to single anybody out as all were poor but Benjani needs to stp playing the nice guy and get some aggression, greediness and attitude in him.. He could and should have had a hat-trick... Instead he misses an 'easy ish' chance.. fluffs a square ball to Nigent and then 'passes' a shot to Gordon that he should have buried.. Look the guy to death for his workrate but boy do we need somebody who eats, drinks, and sleeps scoring goals...

It was a dismal performance - I pity those brave heroes who travelled - I think they should be given free 4th round FA cup tickets in compensation. With ACoN, injuries & no Matty I think we're in trouble the next few weeks.

I travelled to Sunderland from Liverpool and i feel justified in saying that was unacceptable, Sol was bullied by Jones, and Distin did little to help him, all over the pitch we were rubbish. I was prepared to give Nugent a chance, but against Nosworthy and Evans he looked what he is, second rate, and Benjy was awful and should not be languishing on the right wing. Get players in, a target man who can mix it, a right winger with pace and power and a constructive and clever midfielder, otherwise we are destined to have a poor season. Four players in Ghana, no Johnson or Davis and we are bloody embarrassing, Harry sort it out mate you know you can.

Hartlepool (a) - Safety first!

A win at Wimbledon made sure of a play-offs place. Technically we can finish in the top 3 but this would require an unlikely set of results from too many clubs wouldn't it?
