my heart ruled my head, but i wasnt expecting a 4-1 beating - which altho we lost fairly i do think 4-1 was harsh... im looking forward to seeing Gleamers match report when he submits it - but i feel he wont be a happy kid...

Glad that my journey was a short one today. We were rubbish, as bad as last week, and Harry needs to change thing around quickly. Utaka, Diop and Muntari need to look at themselves and realise that you need to work hard when you are not a s skilful or clever as the opposition. Pedro you are hiding mate!! The back four was pulled everywhere and every time Torres ran at them he terrified us. I love Pompey but i have to be honest when we are bad, and we were today. Where is Nugent ? Give him a go or tell us the truth!! Matty, Sean and Nugent need to get a go at Arsenal, Boro and Reading otherwise the season will end pretty quickly for us.

the defense looked very shaky and as a result we could not create anything offensively, im glad Benji scored tho, it should boost his confidence

Yeah agree Stones about Benji, He's looked a touch tired lately. Trouble is I feel as we havent mixed the team up in a good while we have been sussed. We need a shake up, and that is not Knee jerk reaction, just an observation

Keep playing Utaka & then subbing him, what the point? With him going to ANC start with Matt Taylor & 2 up front.

Just got back and I'll be brutally honest - the score is as I expected. Not because Liverpool were amazingly good but because we put out a very average performance. I always knew we were going to feel the wrath of Liverpool after their recent results but we never looked a threat and after 16 minutes I started to wonder, are we as good as we think we are? Apart from Benjani and to some extent Diop - the African boy's minds seem to be on the Nations Cup. Muntari really has to stop giving the ball away because he cost us today. Mendes hasn't got the power to be our 'clean-up' man nor has he got the flair that Krunchie has. Had to give full credit to Harry on the Kanu move. Benjani did far more on the right than Utaka did and Kanu really did give us "that extra something" but it wasn't enough. If Harry can rally the troops in this short space of time we could get something from Arsenal, if not it'll be 3 defeats in 3.
