Disappointed with a draw, even though i predicted it, in the league. Was hoping that the defence would have looked better than they did. They looked far too panic stricken, and were opened up too often, by lets face it an ordinary attack by Prem standards. God help us Weds night if they give United that much space!!

Our defence did look at bit shaky at times but they'll gel I'm sure. Utaka made a good contribution, better than his fellow countryman ! A draw is better than a loss and knowing us we'll go and beat the Manx on Wednesday ...... Oh was that my alarm clock, I must've been dreaming...... but we have done it before

we will beat united on wednesday im always confident when we play them at fratton - i dont think we will lose anyway... adams has got to work his magic on the back 4 as they liked as though they had never played together before, which altho it has only been pre season, they have more than enough. yep, disappointed at a pt, but to lose an early goal and a late one but still pick up at least a pt is not as bad as it could have been fellas...

Agreed rug, could have been worse. I had a bad feeling about playing Derby all week, would much rather we had played the likes of Middlesboro or Wigan. As yesterday proved newly promoted clubs on the first day are no push overs.

There is no easy game in this league but this season suggests the hardest of all. At the end of the day no matter how good 20 sides might be, there will still be 3 relegated. For some bazarre reason I am not as confident now that we will make top half. But that doesn't worry me. What does are the next 5 games and how that may impact on our morale. Will it toughen us ahead of 'winnable' games or will it send off pitch panic signs. At then end of the day no side is unlucky to be relegated, we just have to make sure we are not one of the 3 from 20.

Away day Blues

We can be brilliant one game and then woeful the next...usually after we've won (usually pretty well) at home but then we lose away, as we did at Blackpool.

A lead at was extended by Plymouth with Blackpool recording a surprising win, talking of which Wycombe's five-one win against Crewe was certainly a 'surprising' win.

Match highlights - Blackpool 3-1 Pompey
