After the first 10 minutes it was quite obvious we would get beat. They were easily finding their way through our wafer thin defence. It was quite embarrassing taking the lead. It could easily have been 6-1.

Yep we hit the post and the bar but Carson made several great saves to prevent a heavier defeat.
You would expect most of the above stats to read the other way with us the home side wouldnt you!

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
