Stil got to be happy with how your seasons gone thus far, but you should be knocking teams like vilaboro over at home.

We should not be dropping points as easily as we are against inferior opposition. There is no excuse, we cannot blame sides for coming to Fratton Park and playing five across the midfield. It is up to us to break them down but we lack invention, ideas, creativity, a will to win and the ability to score. Europe? We won't even be able to get on the ferry at Portsmouth based on our last fourteen league matches, let alone make it to Europe!

We are having a tough time but come on TruePompeyBlue this kind of talk is not the talk we want. Lets not give up with 13 games and a lot of points still to play for!!! A run of wins (may not look likely at the moment but can happen!) and we'll be up with, if not above Bolton again. Teams are and will drop points against each other around us three points at Wigan on Saturday will be a start, another against City could then follow then if we could follow that up with three against Blackburn day light could re-appear. It's too soon to give up...

Still if you were offered 6th at this point of the season before it started you would have settled for it behind the usual top 4 and Bolton

LOL TPB. nope Col8 prefer us to be and we should be above Bolton in 5th, generally until recently we have played the more attractive football. lots of Ifs there ruggers, anyway we are not at the end of the season. I suppose what it does show is that this year the EPL is quite mediocre outside of P1-4.

Pompey aim remains the same

Doncaster, Carlisle & Plymouth are the teams to catch. Pompey are further adrift than we would want but the aim to finish top 3 remains the same. That's targeted in the coming weeks.
