Well at least we played a lot better the pathetic effort against Charlton. Now we're out of the cup we can concentrate on the league. The top end for a change.

Once again we cant break quick enough with 4,5,1 and it seems odd to try and play Cole up on his own, and the Lauren position seemed designes to appease Glen J other than any functional point. All in all better than expected and we sat back so deep the best team won, Best game i have seen Krunchie play. he is starting to repay that patience. Gary O & particulalry Glen J gave the ball away too many times, although most in white were guilty of the same. On that performance Sol must be in the reckoning for the England squad. Anyway more important we win at middlesborough. LoL Great assistant ref we could do with him more often.

agreed storage, defensivly we looked good and we played right up until the end so at least there is some positives to take from the game to face boro....... a must win

There is nothing like a win to bring back the upbeat mood that has existed for the greater part of this season. A loss to Middlesbrough would surely have the hatchett men out there ready to add weight to our burst bubble. Confidence with return or dive on the outcome of Tuesdays match. It's really a case of Europe or Bust.

We have a top manager, an excellent team and good players - some outstanding. If we can't beat Middlesborough we don't deserve to play in Europe.

Pompey aim remains the same

Doncaster, Carlisle & Plymouth are the teams to catch. Pompey are further adrift than we would want but the aim to finish top 3 remains the same. That's targeted in the coming weeks.
