A good point for us under the circumstances. Well done Pompey.

two points lost at home again

A draw was the right result, but from the point of view of having a lead it is two points lost...
pompeyrug
spurs were very dangerous on the break, if it wasn't for jamo it would of been 3 points dropped
paultsmouth
Agreed,Spurs looked sharper, but a point maintains our lead over them in the table,so it wasn't a complete disaster. Play Up Pompey !!
lincspfcfan
well done pompey, i see european football in the future!

Interesting your storyline on the home page has us 2-1 winners. Could of sworn it was the first televised draw I have seen Pompey in this season. We were probably the luckiest of the the 2 sides to sneak a point - especially as our only goal was somewhat deflected.
pompeygray
A good point for Pompey. Keep up the great season!

sorry to be negative but my first new years rant. too many points have been thrown away from leads. and i dont get why it is "a good point for us" are they that superb or were they below us in the league??? because when i listen to some it seems we have no right to beat the "big teams" why do pompey fans accept that we have to be pleased to have 1 point against teams. perhapse i ned reading glasses cos whenever i have looked at the table in the last few months Spurs have been below us in the league? I will never understand the second best is good attitude, Pompey were ahead of Spurs in the league for a reason... we have more points, we have been more succesful. We should have won!!! What is also frustrating is like other teams Spurs look crap wherever they travel until as usual we decide to make them look good.
russellm
Never hold back do you russell?? i agree that we made them look good, I was disapointed because if we played (& defended in paticular, apart from DJ who was awsome as usual!) as well as we can, that game would have been three points!..but, as their is always a but, we didnt play paticularly well, & for me, regarding how we were playing, a point was a good result. Always gutted not to get three!
