Good Luck Newcastle in the Muppet Cup. I am not sorry we are not in it. Precious League points and a decent FA Cup run is all that I crave for...

I would agree Pompeygray if we had other silverware, although i have to say would be disappointed to sacrifice 40 points for a place in that cup final. My geordie mate said that we seemed to be sunshine boys on the day, but like me he still see us coming away with 9 points from the next 12 including our next trip to newcastle ( if it is dry he says). In regards to todays game the reason a good performance and clean sheet win gainst reading is impotatant is because we will need it as a confidence builder for the game against Man U next week.

Not bothered on this. Prem is what matters & we can go to Newcastle in a months time & come back with the points.
