I wasn't there but again we seem to create a lot chances & only one shot on target. Not hard to see where a major problem lies. The speculation doesn't help & sadly a lot of our lower league rivals won last night.

If we created lots of chances then i cannot have really been sat there in the cold, dark fratton night. It must have been just an awful dream, thank goodness. It means that i didnt really witness inept football, with anyone in a blue shirt clueless on which part of the foot to make contact with the ball in order to direct it to a player that they are familar with. I also couldnt have seen a lone striker up front with no physical presence or attributes, struggling for 90 minutes with not one single supporting player within 30 yds. Nor can i have seen 'midfielders' looking up and passing through balls 20 yds left and right of their intended target, time and time again. If that had been reality and i had witnessed it, then it would have been really depressing!

The Mansfield Low Down

PompeyFrippy looks ahead to Mansfield where Pompey MUST win in order to keep alive the hopes of beating Doncaster - who end this if they beat Exeter - and Plymouth to the title.

Over and out?

Noel Hunt's Pompey career could be over? A dislocated shoulder, at Hartlepool, means the former Southend man will not feature against Mansfield or Cheltenham.

Burgess - we can go again in league one

Christian Burgess, like the rest of us, is enjoying Pompey's promotion to league one BUT he's not content to settle at that level - he's already eyeing the Championship.

Winger returns but full back on his way out?

Ex-Chelsea & Walsall winger Lalkovic is back at Pompey, ahead of the proposed end to his Ross loan. Talbot looks as if his Blues days are numbered, a Chesterfield return is mooted?
