how the hell did we lose that...
if there is a 'right way' to lose then that was it tho mind - we gave it our all, got knocked back for a while after the goal, but went ALL out attack to get a point but just came up short.
missed chances cost us but if we play anything like that at the weekend - and take chances - we will batter donny!

I know our strikers haven't exactly been prolific this season, but you've got to expect this was just an unlucky day. Even against Barnsley we came whiskers away from scoring 3 or 4 times in addition to the 2 we did score, so you've got to think our luck will change soon, hopefully Saturday.

they have not been prolific in a long time really have they Frippy! the thing is, in a good way in many ways, the chances are being shared around - 'perhaps' if they had all fallen to the likes of varney, maybe even kitson, we would have won?
i am happy with more getting involved in our attacking play mind and think we were very unlucky not to come away with a point, then again ipswich would have felt as aggrieved last season...

well, it does in many ways blue that we failed to take chances and that costs you but does not tell the whole story really does it - like i say tho ipswich will argue similarly from last season...

Almost there...stay on target

The win over Newport saw Pompey react well to the defeat to Stevenage with most results going in the Blues' favour too, meaning we've effectively got a seven point buffer on Boro.

League Two 2016/17 Golden Boot Battle (27/3/17)

With most playing 39 League Two games in the 2016/17 season, this year could still see a few players break the 20 goal mark.

Vital View - League 2, 25th-26th March 2017

With Doncaster and Plymouth yet to play Portsmouth took advantage to close the gap and extend it on the chasing pack. Newport & Leyton Orient look likely to be relegated.
