we were nowhere near good enough today - grant has, up til now, made very good tactical moves and his 'tinkering' has paid off, not so sure the tinkering was needed for this game and the chances made certainly did not pay off - altho 'perhaps' his thinking was being done with the african nations in mind somewhat?

by my recokining that was o'hara's 5th yellow so he 'might' have played his last game for pompey as he will miss arsenal now wont he and it is far from clear we will be able to extend his loan...
'hopefully' tho this IS the last time we see dindane for a number of weeks as he was poor again today.

It seems we only 'shine' when the opponents are on an off-day or decimated with injury problems.

Three words: Frustration, Poor and Incompetent. That's what we were. Thank God we had Ben Haim and Begovic who had a good game. Why, and oh why did we leave Boateng on the bench. Are we rich enough not to play the most influential player??! And playing Mullins has paid off, he committed a penalty and then let Kovac rise high to head in our relegation bullet!

Thought the team selection a little strange, however you may be right that it was guided by the ACoN departees !! Sorry to hear it was a poor display as that does not bode well for the Arse!! Judgement day looms close, but still, the fat lady might yet catch a throat infection. PUP
