The stats rarely lie and that is definitely the case here. 19 attempts from Pompey and none on target for Wigan.

Yeah...we ran them off the pitch yesterday. And what's encouraging is, that it's not just running and hard work on our part without an end result. The midfield virtually killed off Wigans game yesterday and kept them on the back foot for the majority of the game.
