Has gone unnoticed but that was Pompey's biggest crowd since the play off semi final with Leicester in May 1993.

Pompey pasted us in the 2nd half but any other keeper in goal you would have concerted at least 3 of those 8 in target. Gomes' save from the Kaboul freekick was exceptional especially considering it took a deflection! also dindanes finishing was shocking. Although you should be disappointed with the result i thought your performace was brilliant, especially smith and KPB

MOTD had our possession at 52%, which I would tend to agree with more than the above. If only we had had some money for decent striker at the end of the transfer period.....? what might have been............. ? D'you know what? I reckon WE would have been around sixth right now, I really do - work it out. Apart from the Arsenal game, I think we would have won them all.
