Of course not the way to start the season but I really do think we were unlucky to lose, but we lost as we did not carry enough attacking threat. There was not the movement that was needed to get into space.

Freddy P looks a decent player but needs someone to help him.

Hero: Hayden Mullins - for me the best player on the park and a vast improvement on last seasons form. Got forward really well into ddangerous positions.

More of the same from Mullins during the season, which I suspect those he is playing alongside will allow, and he will not do bad.

Villain: John Utaka - well John you have let yourself down again and that is the final straw for me. I would walk you to wherever it is you should now go!

People argue that you have not been played as a striker enough, but where were the strikers instinctions of making runs to near or front post when it was on? Mullins showed you how to make these types of runs.

Sorry, but a waste of space and long overdue that he moved on!

High on quantity, low on quality. Only one stat mattered & lady luck got involved, the slag!!!

Stick Utaka on the bench and only put him on if we need an attacking option, like yesterday, when we brought Kanu off the bench. If we bring someone on with pace to scare the bejesus out of them, that may be worth a few goals a season. He's just not good enough for 90 minutes on the wing.

for 24 goal attempts both keepers really didn,t have much to save. Piq needs to get help but thought he ran his socks off in his prem debut. Mullins did have a good game but Storagematt has summed it up well

You gave us a run for our money and it was a bit of luck that decided it in the end. Good luck to you guys...

Why no Basinas? After Rangers, I thought he might get some time on the park.
