Mark Lawrenson and his big crystal balls

Mark Lawrenson and his big crystal balls
This week top BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson attempts to predict the outcome of the Pompey v Spurs match. 'Lawro' (you can imagine the time and expense at the BBC to think that nickname up) now looks into his crystal ball and predicts:

'This has the makings of a good game. Tottenham had a good win last week and have players returning but I still fancy Portsmouth to win this one. Pompey will lose lots of players to the African Cup of Nations soon and they will be desperate to pick up maximum points before then.'

That's the kiss of death then...

So what do you think? Do not forget to place your prediction in the Vital Pompey prediction league here.

what does 'lawro' know eh - as The Rabbi says - altho he does know enough to know that we will win tomorrow! he has seemed to warm to pompey in recent months tho, as i have noticed more of a 'good feeling' towards us on the whole...

He's really been understimating us this season - keeps predicting us to draw away from home. I'm just worried he's predicted the win for Saturday now! Kiss of death.

A bit from memeory here. Lawro predicted, we would lose at Blackburn. WRONG. We would lose at Wigan. WRONG. We would draw at Fulham. WRONG. We would beat West Ham. WRONG. We would lose at Newcastle. WRONG. We would beat Man City. WRONG. We would draw at Birmingham. WRONG. We would lose at Villa. WRONG. He was right about the draw with Everton. Sadly he has tipped us to win which ain't a good sign. Generally his predictions for other nmatches are 60-70% right. Just bolloxs when predicting us.

We have a sort Football Pools type lottery out here called Proline. Basically, you pick who you think will win/draw/lose out of the weekly EPL matchups. I tune in to " Lawro's Predictions " just about every week and bet on the opposite result he predicts. It very often puts 30 to 50 bucks in my pocket off a $5 bet. Thanks Lawro.

Lawro has Crystal Balls... That's probably why he wore his shorts so tight when he played ... This bloke has the easier job in the World doesn't he and I bet he never get moaned at for getting things wrong either ...

WRONG AGAIN. Well at least we have a chance next week as he will tip his beloved Liverpool to beat us.
