"Where's my ticket?"

Complaints had been broadcast, and it was discussed as being the one place where the club still needed to improve.

Well, now it has. Pompey are now going to start working with "ticket master", who are widely regarded as the best in the business for ticket distribution. And not only that, but there will be a 24/7 call centre, with 60 phone lines available - and all for half the price of the old service - 5p a minute.

Not only that, but Portsmouth Football Club are also selling tickets for just 5.00 for under 17s for the Blackburn game, which should hopefully result in a decent atmosphere, for another decent cup win.

The new ticket sales number will be 08448 471 898, and season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets from that number from Friday for the Blackburn game. Peter Storrie commented "we sincerely hope fans appreciate that we have listened and learned from mistakes made at the Leeds game - and look forward to providing a professional service from now on".

By the sounds of things, Pompey, under the guidance of Alexandre Gaydamak have come on leaps and bounds in professionalism - and this is another major step towards being the "big" club that we all want to be.

It well aybe that Blackburn have asay in the prices, I don't think the home side in cup games can dictate the price without consultation.

I did not realise that Matt, but i do think that 25 is a lot of money for a Carling Cup game, especially as it is the last 16. I thought the club would reduce prices to reward us for our loyalty to them.

A small generous gesture, but being over 17 I can't benefit from this....go on, drop it to a score for adults.....

25 is too much. Why not 15 quid?
