Pompey Ladies: Kicking off in the Premier Division

Pompey Ladies: Kicking off in the Premier Division
Hello all at Vital

With all the trouble that Pompey has been through over these last few years, I would like to point out that there has been a quite success story building. Pompey ladies finished last season as Champions of the Southern division and start this season promoted to the FA Womens Premiership (equal to the Championship really).

This promotion also saw Southampton Ladies relegated! Surely that must be worth something?

Anyway, as I can't really afford to put any money into the club I have offered my time as admin for the ladies team and am trying to get as much exposure for them as possible. If you were at the game today you would have heard two announcements for their game tomorrow. So I hope that the following statement can be put onto this site so that we can get a few more people supporting other areas of the club.

Portsmouth Ladies kick off their 2012-13 Season with last seasons Champions Sunderland. The game against the Black Cats will take place at the Moneyfields Ground, Copnor, and will kick off at 1pm.

Portsmouth Ladies gained promotion last season to the FA Women's Premier League National Division, as Champions of the Southern Division effectively relegating Southampton Ladies! Come and support Portsmouth Ladies on Sunday for some great football and support the Lady Blues!

Nice steady opening against average enough teams

The words of PompeyFrippy, not mine. But all things considered I think he's right when you look at the opening games of Pompey's 2017-18 season.
