Phoenix from the flames? BarneyArmy's view!
Yes at Fratton Park !

In all honesty, We've been doing "Yes at Fratton Park" for the last few years, as with each take over following an administration it is in effect what happens with liquidation except that there is no guarantee that any infrastructure is left!!!!

What makes Pompey ?

It is You, Me, 1000's of other Pompey Supporters that have been brought up on the terraces for years. Yes the history is important, and it is still OUR history. But what is more important is that our FUTURE is OURS and those that follow us.

As part of our history, don't you all remember the changes in name that have been part of that history in our early days? This is no different to what happened with other clubs either.

We all wanted a new ground, be it on the island, at the airport, Farlington marshes, the Dockyard, Port Solent ? and yet, no one was saying that we should lose all of our history, and it wouldn't be the same Pompey.

I say wake up and lets make sure we have a PFC that represents us as a city and a set of fans, and respects the history of our Football Club.

Because, one thing that doesn't represent what I think PFC should be is Balram Chainrai, Al Faraj, CSI, et al. Just because one business has gone bust doesn't mean that PFC is defunkt !!!

Play up Pompey

If I thought that we could be liquidated; denying the Portpins, Gaydermaks, Kanus, Ben Haims, Kitsons and HMRCs any money AND keep our manager AND keep our ground AND keep our history AND keep our place in the football league AND be owned by the community AND have no debts, I think it would be the most marvellous thing in the history of the world. What are the chances? No, that was a serious question; WHAT ARE THE CHANCES? Somebody tell me.

Trust is the winning bidder? Yes, I can see that Keep Appy? - Yes I can see that Continue at FP? - Yep Keep our place in the league? - unlikely if liquidation occurs.

The fixtures are all sorted, the infrastructure is in place, the Trust's bid seems viable AND we would have complied with most of the Football Leagues directives, SO it would make sense for the FL to allow Pompey to carry on where we left off. 'Sense' and 'Pompey' don't usually sit well in the same sentence, however. Wouldn't that be something, though?

Vital Pre-Match - League 2, 1st October

The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of matches this weekend, which will see us among those having a match in this upcoming schedule with three-points the aim of course.

Tollitt still has a Pompey chance

Well, according to Cook. He's insisting Tollitt, the former Everton academy player who had returned to Merseyside to join Tranmere on loan, can still return to Pompey.

Pompey win and lose collectively

As such Cook doesn't want the fans to start turning on individual players, which has been the case with Bennett with Smith not exactly viewed as a 'fans' favourite' either.
