The dirty dozen - jsander48
Always looking for membership participation Vital Pompey is looking to conduct a number of Vital Pompey summer interviews with 'The dirty dozen' series, so all you have to do is email your answers (portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk) to these questions and I will then publish them.

Next up is jsander48, so without any further a do here are the answers given...

1) Maybe its viewed as an 'odd question' but did you enjoy the 2011/12 season?
Yes, be it the past two seasons I've grown accustom to the financial difficulties of Pompey and I've found this season an exciting and challenging one!

2) What was your 'highlight' of the season?
My highlight of the season would be seeing the priceless looks on the Scumhampton fans faces after Norris's last minute volley.

3) And your 'lowest point' of 2011/12?
Lowest point of the season would be seeing CSI leave us so quickly and my hopes for what looked like a positive season just vanish.

4) Who was your player of the season, and why?
David Norris was quality on the pitch providing stunning and vital goals but he also showed his Pompey pride off the field as well.

5) What about the player you think contributed the least and should not have been with us?
If I had to choose I would pick Ben-Haim. His performance on the pitch was not up to par with the wages he was receiving, he was a rude player obviously only there for the money and could care less about the circumstances we were in and the fans feelings towards the club.

6) How do you feel about playing in the third tier of English football?
I'm actually looking forward to the adventure, it will be the first time I've supported a club in League 1 so I am ready for a change.

7) Will you be getting a season ticket for the 2012/13 season or just 'picking and choosing' your games?
I'd be lucky to be able to go to a couple of games considering how far I live away from England.

8) What team are you most looking forward to facing next season?
I'm looking forward to facing Swindon actually, I cant wait to see Matt Ritchie back at Fratton Park!

9) And the team you are least relishing?
The team I'm least relishing is Sheffield United they looked pretty angry after losing to Huddersfield on penalties and I think they will sweep us and grab the title by a wide margin.

10) It is tough to know who will, and will not, be with Pompey in the 2012/13 season but at the moment who is your early tip for the player of the year?
Futacs if he signs the new contract!

11) Which youngster do you think will make the biggest impression during the upcoming season?
Ashley Harris looks promising.

12) At the time of asking this it is still early doors but what are your hopes/expectation for the 2012/13 season?
I'm not so optimistic about the next season. Many say will at least make the playoffs but I think we will be robbed of our current players for bargain prices, sign the wrong people, get bought by Chainrai, keep Appy and only finish maybe anywhere from 8th-13th place. My expectations, however are that we finish 10th place or above. I hope I'm right! PUP

Vital Pre-Match - League 2, 1st October

The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of matches this weekend, which will see us among those having a match in this upcoming schedule with three-points the aim of course.

Tollitt still has a Pompey chance

Well, according to Cook. He's insisting Tollitt, the former Everton academy player who had returned to Merseyside to join Tranmere on loan, can still return to Pompey.

Pompey win and lose collectively

As such Cook doesn't want the fans to start turning on individual players, which has been the case with Bennett with Smith not exactly viewed as a 'fans' favourite' either.
