Vital Football

We need you!

We need you!
Calling all Pompey fans that are fed up with a succession of owners who do not understand that football in Portsmouth is part of the community.

The Trust and the Fans' Conference need your help. The only cost is a couple of minutes of your time. We've started a website where fans can register to show their support if they believe that fans should have a significant role in Pompey's future.

The idea is that whenever we talk to potential owners, football authorities, the media or even the administrator, we can say that X number of fans have expressed an interest in supporter involvement. It does not commit the signatories to anything; nor does it commit to anything specific like Plan B or shares in the club or a fan on the Board. It does however show that the fans wish to be heard in how our club is run.

It will also give us a data-base of people that are interested in being kept up to date with what is going on and who can be contacted quickly for their views or help when a fast response is needed.

Chix, i agree; it's just away for the PST to get a data base and say its represents all pompey fans and having been to listen to them at the rifle club- its frightening.

Sorry Ken, but I have to agree with Chix on this one. Yes something needs to be done, but I don't believe that the supporters have the 'power' you mention

who knows what is right or wrong..as a non pomponian who is out of the loop, i see lots of people setting themselves up as LEADERS AND GETTING THIER MUGS IN THE PAPERS..but i have joined the trust because of that, because i am owerless in saving PFC, and a unity of the fans is the only way i can contribute,,,My remarks about AFC Pompey were poo=pooed and i undersyand why and agree with some of the points why, but again it is the only way out of this stranle hold that seems feasable. SG AND BC ARE NOT GOING AWAY...unless some one with a big enough wedge can sort it-but WE DO NOT KNOW what is the real issue's with these two its al a mystery,,

"football in Portsmouth is part of the community." What % of supporters actually live within the city boundary?
