HMRC - Here we go again

HMRC - Here we go again
Apparently, according to an article in The News later today CSI's esteemed administrator, and the man tasked with finding us a new owner, claims we have missed our last two payments to the taxman.

This amounts to a sum of 1.6m according to the tweet posted recently by Neil Allen.

Surely the last person we would not want to pay given our past record is the taxman.

I'll post the link to the published article so that we can read, digest and comment on it fully.

I'm not sure it's quite the same situation, I think if it hadn't been arranged ( with appropriate 4% interest charge HM would have gone public themselves earlier. There is an FL imposed obligation on Pompey to HMRC which would have seen the club fined. Also the sum is much lower fixed agreement which HMRC is less concerned about than revovering its right to take tax from clubs and that they are managed as a going concern or subsidized viable company in the same way as other businesses. It's unhelpful but I don't see it as a killer blow.

Russ - I took it the same way .. far more serious would be to default on the CVA payment due on April 1st .. AA seems to imply we have it covered and it's just a question of cash-flow.
