What outcome would you prefer?

What outcome would you prefer?
I've heard a number of different views on how different fans would like this latest fiasco to end.

I'd be interested to see what you think - and be honest - its anonymous!!

This is the question that Tim asks, with these options given - so login on the forum link (here) and cast your vote...

What outcome would you prefer?

Club bought by billionaire with a lavish budget
Club bought by local businessman with a modest budget
Club bought by a fans' consortium (existing club)
Club folds & a Phoenix club is set-up

Bought by a billionaire with a lavish budget; I've been to a trust meeting, i have read the news and seen some of the drivel people put.

I would sell all the players and use the money for other things then I'd buy subutteo and paint one team Pompey and the other team saints; an it will be like fans owning the ground and we could paint a team in saints colours and beat them everyday and we could pretend that we own the club and we are like Really Madrid where the fans own the club and there's no big business or organised crime at all an it all be lovely and fluffy .... etc etc etc

I'd settle for anything that involved survival and not having the fans anywhere near the organisation of it. There is so much disagreement between the warring factions that nothing would ever get done. Half the people spouting on about the club being 'mugged' don't go anywhere near the Park anyway, so to class them as 'fans' is stretching a point anyway.

Fans couldn't afford it A modest local business man couldn't afford it A phoenix club is a going back to square 1, no actually square minus 10 for what? The 'previous' crooks in the 'past' A stable billionaire seems the best of the vaugue options ...All I want is a stable, straight 'Portsmouth FC' that exists in league football with 5 figure attendances that offer the same atmosphere that keeps me going back and got me hooked in the first place! Simples! A phoenix club wouldn't offer that and is a much bigger risk.

Give me a billionaire. After all our false dawns I think we deserve a real one, someone who has bottomless pockets and no family history, other projects or split personalities.
