Chew The Fat With Chix - Sept 8th

It is 'Chew The Fat' time once again!

Last week we again saw a bumper debate unfold with over 200 comments on various topics thrown back and forth between those that took part and I am sure tonight will again be no different with lots to discuss throughout the evening.

You all know by now that I'll be live and on line only on Vital Pompey from approx. 7:30 seeking your views and giving my opinion on the hot topics of the week and a whole lot more

I'm happy to chat about anything Pompey however tenuous, so just toss in the subject you want to discuss and we will take it from there.


But to get you thinking, how about..


The Great Football Experiment - Have you seen the articles and threads about Ivory FC yet? Have you visited the website or perhaps even seen Vital's very own Vital Nivea site?

Well, I want your thoughts and opinions on whether you think the experiment could work but before wading in with your view go and have a look for yourself and then let me know what you think. The links can be found on the front page and in the forum.

Also, on that subject I'll be running a separate debate on the Best Modern Day Pompey No.1 . You may have seen the poll running at the moment and either agreed or disagreed with it. So I want your thoughts on who you think it should be - But beware I have a long list of achievements that my candidate can't get beaten on!



Local Lads - A lot has been said on the subject of Home Grown Talent recently, but following last week's 'Nationalities Listing' where we accounted for over 50 different nationalities of Pompey player this week I want to try and build the Best Pompey Home Grown XI I'm going to apply some strict criteria to the selection process by if you think you can think of a player you would like to see included, just pitch in and tell me his name.

Deals with the 92 - Well the Transfer Window maybe shut but that does not stop the debate or even stop me thinking

I wonder how many of the 92 clubs in the top four tiers of the English League system have Pompey done business with over the years?

Can you think of any players we may have bought or sold from Stoke City for example !.. OK then. What about Chesterfield or Port Vale

Have Pompey done deals with all of the 92?

What do you think ? How many can you throw in to the melting pot?

Can we get to 30? or 40? or maybe even 50! different clubs by the time we close the debate around 11:00pm



Those are just a few ideas for discussion, but as I say every week ... It's your agenda so anything goes!
