Dailly shown the door

Christian Dailly has left Portsmouth after only one month at the club. The former Charlton man was signed in August on a free.

The former Scottish international's contract was not renewed and his very short time at the club has come to an end.

He was only really signed as a back up when the club was extremely short of numbers and only made two appearances for the club, of which his only start was in the cup defeat to Barnet.

For me, this means that Pompey have arranged a defensive loan replacement.

Good move to bring him in for a month, we needed cover for those first few games but now we seem to be better equipped. I'm regretting getting "Dailly 4 Lyfe" on the back of my new Pompey shirt now though.
