Southampton game at Fratton moved for BBC

Pompey's home derby game versus Southampton has been moved from Saturday the 17th of December to Sunday the 18th December and will be shown live on BBC One, kicking off at 1pm.

I think I speak on behalf of most of the Pompey fans that will not be able to get to the game, in saying that this is great news. As I cannot get to any Pompey games myself I'm particularly happy as; if I had to pick just one game of the upcoming season to watch it would be this one.

Here's to hoping the BBC show as many Pompey games as possible this season PUP.

First time we've been live on the Beeb since the cup final in 2008. We don't exactly draw in the crowds, but this game should be a cracker. I just hope I can watch it from the ground instead of on the telly. I'm gonna postpone flying back to Ireland on the Saturday, so I will be there for the match, now to find a ticket.

Sadly I expect to miss the game as I will having an early xmas with my daughter. Not missed a home game against the scum in the last 30 years but can't be helped this time.
