Frippy's Mastermind

Do you think you are the ultimate King (or Queen) of Pompey knowledge? Well it's time to put that to the test!

Introduction the Frippy's Mastermind competition, where I will pit your wits against the clock with a series of questions where there is only 1 specialist subject; Portsmouth FC. The questions will not be too tricky, and will mainly revolve around the last decade. It's more about being quick on the button than having a vast encyclopaedic knowledge.

The concept of the quiz is very simple, all you need to do is sign up by replying to the thread in the forum - here. Alternately by sending me a PM or an e-mail (e-mail PompeyFrippy - here.)

I will take entrants up to midnight on Friday 15th July when the fun will start. Depending on the number of people involved, I will divide you up into groups, where the top scoring players will proceed to the latter stages until we have our finalists.

As this is all going to be against the clock, I will be using some sort of instant chat service which doesn't require registration (any suggestions would be welcome) and I will ask each player the same set of questions in each round to avoid any bias. Depending on the reaction time of the messaging service, I will ask questions for 3-4 minutes and will not inform the player of their total amount until all players have played.

Due to the time difference I will try to slot players in to specific times over the week and weekend, but any players that fail to make an appearance during the course of the round will score 0.

Further rules and instructions will be made available prior to the start of the competition, and if you have any questions please don't be afraid to ask.
