Pompey fans survey, for every age and location!

Pompey fans survey, for every age and location!
I'm conducting a research project on 'the external factors that affect Portsmouth Football Club.' Initially the idea was to ask a small number of Pompey fans their opinions on just about everything PCFC does. However it was decided that it could be extremely beneficial to invite just about everybody who is a fan of the Club using; Supporters groups, Website readers, Facebook fans, Twitter followers, etc. to participate...

To my knowledge such a questionnaire hasn't been done on a mass scale for a long time, if ever?!? Obviously the accuracy and importance of the results will depend on how many Pompey fans take part. The minimum aim is to get 1,000 responses but the hope is that an ambitious target of 2,500 will be achieved.

In just two days since the questionnaire went live, over 850 Pompey fans had taken part and at one point the website even crashed! It should only take you a couple of minutes to fill out and you'll have helped us get a bit closer to the target of 2,500.

Unfortunately being a student I have more debt than PFC (don't think NatWest bank will accept 20p in the pound though!) so the software being used is free and doesn't allow two people to participate from the same computer. The only other option would have been to collect peoples email addresses but decided it would be better for people to be answer anonymously.

This questionnaire will be running for at least a week and the results will be made available to all websites and supporters groups shortly after.

Thanks for your time and Play Up Pompey!!

Done it .. takes five minutes .. Glad to see it is not a method for the trust to capture email addresses .. Although I'm sure they will use the number of people who respond in a 'spun' way to try and demonstrate they are the voice of Pompey..

Done... but I do hate those multi-choice questions, they bring out my indecisive side :-)

Given my position; living in Malta, not too many questions where easy to answer! I would be a ticket holder otherwise, but visiting Fratton Park once in a season is great for me!

    Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
