Pompey talk with UKTony

Pompey talk with UKTony
I know it was a miserable season, overall, and reflecting on parts of it will be the last thing you want to do but we had to take one for the team!

So, sum up the 2009/10 season in 3 words?
Is this real?

What was your season highlight?
Burnley away - a ground I've never been to - great atmosphere on the journey there and back, at the cricket ground before the game and a win double to celebrate too.

12-months ago things were meant to be looking 'a lot brighter' with SAF taking over, we all know this panned out! Charlatans come and gone and we are where we are now. But what are your hopes for our future?
Stability and "proper" football away from the limelight.

Lets be honest, not much, if anything will come through the Fratton gates player wise this summer. Even so, who, realistically, would you like us to sign this summer? Taking into account we will spend little, or no money, assuming we are not under a continued transfer embargo anyway...
That bloke from Millwall who banged in 25 goals this year.

Several will go for sure, but who would be the player that you would choose to sell if you could anyway, and why?
Utaka - need I say more?

And the player that you would love us to keep at Fratton Towers if we could, and why?
Marc Wilson - one for the future a couple of years back whose time is now.

What are you hoping for from Pompey in the 2010/11 season?
Attractive football and the return of fortress Fratton.

How many Pompey games do you expect to attend?
25 ish?

Finally, as it is a world cup summer how do you think England will do?
I don't care - I'm not a fan of international football - overpaid prima donnas, talented though they may be, do not a team make.

who is that millwall bloke you talk about tony? whoever he is after 'banging in' 25 goals i do not think we would have a hope in hell of signing him...unless he is now a free agent, even then...
burnley was awesome wasnt it - i was absolutely hammered that day, going back to the cricket club after the game was a bad mistake, but at those prices why wouldnt you! i look forward to returning next season.

I wish I could remember his name - first season at Millwall after being at Stevenage I think.

I'll go with good football, return to fortress fratton. I also want we win or are in a position to win every game and get promoted; no pressure from me then.
