Well you wanted a clue and that is only worth one mark. Ah the 1st April 1978 (Q73) a day I remember well!! These are probably too easy but remember get extra points by asking us sensible questions.

Dave I'm confused about Q73 - don't want to raise my concerns though incase I give away the answer by mistake! Still, I'll have a guess, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong!

Gino Re Q73 What's to be confused about.. The question is "What did the Fratton Park crowd witness on 1st April 1978?" .. the answer could be a Bonfire Display, Benjani getting sent off, Pompey beating Saints 10-0.. There's no trick in the question.. If you were at Fratton Park on that date what did you see (apart from grass !) .. As simple as that ..

Re Q63 I can't believe I left that the answer in .. I'lll remove it later .. But as Dave say's it's only worth one point anyway .. So at least everybody has got one right.

Ok Gino If you promise no more 'linking questions I'll give in.. I can't work out the answer.. and if it is categorically correct you can have the ten points..

My question was "What links Utaka, Mvuemba, Kranjcar, Basinas, Belhadj?" - the answer is that they are the members of the current first-team Pompey squad that signed from Foreign (i.e. Non-British) clubs. Go ahead, try and wriggle, I'm pretty sure I'm right! No more list questions, promise! There was a clue in Chimes, as the beginning letter of each paragraph spelt the word "Foreign"! Obscure I know, but I didn't want to make it easy....

I can't argue with that one Gino It's a good question and your answer is correct .. I spent a long time looking at their previous clubs but thought is centred around something to do with France but Basinas and Krancjar always threw me.. So fair cop Ten Bonus Points to you.. Oh I'm glad your clue was so obscure I would have never have thought of looking at things like that.. so I'm gald I didn't spend too long looking !

Ok Chix and Dave, a question for you to both work on... Hermann Hreidarsson scored a bullet of a header against Man City on 14th February 2009. But who was the last player to score for Pompey from a corner before this in a competitive match? (Scoring from a corner in my eyes constitutes as the ball crossing the line within 7-8 seconds of the corner kick being taken) I'm not 100% sure of the answer, but if you get the same as me, or closer to the above date with your final answer, I'll accept defeat. Best of luck.

So if in that 7 or 8 seconds the ball came over from a corner was cleared by a cefender and then volleyed into the net .. Would you count that ? .. I'm not sure if that makes it easier of harder for us but we will find an answer I'm sure..

Yes, for instance, Mendes's famous goal against City would (in my eyes) come from a corner.
