'Harry for a day'

'Harry for a day'
You may, or may not be aware of and idea that ChrisW came up with titled 'Harry for a day'

Basically it was an idea that he had within the forum where we put forward what we think will primarily be our squad of 25 players for next season - taking into account who we think, or would like, to see arrive this summer as well as those we feel or again would like to see leave.

As with all aspects of Vital Pompey there is no right or wrong, it is merely opinion and something that is being done for fun to test our knowledge and to see just how good we actually are at accessing the talent that we can attract or the players we feel we should lose, rightly or wrongly.

You simply put forward a list of 25 names and leave it at that, or go one step further and give a brief or detailed summary of why you have 'signed' the players you have and/or 'sold' others that you have, it is down to you, as said there is no 'correct answer' here guys.

However there are some stipulations! These being:

- It must be a squad of 25 players.

- It must be selected and posted within that forum thread by June 1st - so you do not have much time to act, but many of us have been putting our thinking caps on already.

- Once you have put forward a squad you cannot alter it, I will know if edits are made. If you need to change anything do this immediately in a separate post stating what and why. So think wisely before you act as once June 1st comes round I will freeze the thread and we will just have to wait see what the new season brings. We will probably wait until the end of the transfer window actually, as things can still change up until the last minutes of the August window...

As said, this is a bit of fun so do not be afraid to get involved, and share your thoughts - there is no right or wrong. Although clearly I will be the most knowledgeable as I am an advisor to Harry Redknapp anyway, but lets not just talk the talk, lets walk the walk!

All that remains to be done is to direct you to the said forum thread, go to page one and work your way through to get a feel of things and then get your squad in, but remember is must be in place by June 1st - I will give you until close of play on that date.

Harry for a Day forum thread.

Get cracking then guys as the clock is ticking.

Chris is going to enjoy this. Do we have to meet Uefa cup rules? See thread for that too.

Rug was suprised at some on my list. One was Heskey. I see today we have now been linked with him by the press. Once again a Vital member is ahead of the press.
