Just watch Wigan sell out now...

Just watch Wigan sell out now...
Earlier today I wrote an article about the amount of tickets still available for the game with Wigan tomorrow, well if the info I have been supplied with holds true then I think it is fair to say we will most probably see these 'surplus' tickets snapped up sharpish!

Clearly I cannot say 100% that this info is completely solid, but based on the way semi final ticketing allocations went with stubs for Birmingham and Villa coming into play this seems feasible.

With Vital Pompey operating a completely 'you say it we share it' policy - within reason - this is why I am sharing this, read it and make of it what you will, out of fairness to the person I am not putting a name to it...

I've heard from my other source that Wigan is a voucher game for any possible final.

The club won't announce it because they don't want to give WBA the added motivation.

My source said the same about Brum and Villa, I posted it on another site and got flamed but the very next day the club confirmed it, so this is from a good source.

Nothings guaranteed in life but people should be warned, if they aren't a season ticket holder or member then they would be mad not to go to Wigan.

And yes this can be shared.

it wouldnt surprise me in the least if the club operated this policy, which would primarily be to sell more tickets for tomorrow...
i was quite vocal about my thoughts on the brum and villa stub policy, which i thought were bad enough for the semi final, this for a possible final i find even more distasteful.
ok, i may have got my semi final ticket through the united stub but i went to that game because i wanted to go to old trafford, i believed we would win but not for one minute when deciding i was going did i think 'yes, i can use this to my avantage if we win'... and of course there is the fact that i have been to hundreds of other games over the past decade or more, these for me - and many others - would appear to count for nothing, whereas 'if' the above is true and 'if' we beat west brom a single game could make the world of difference to someone...
i guess tho either way 'if' we make the final it will be season ticket holders that get most, if not all tickets anyway, and rightly so tbh!

i've bought a few tickets for tomorrow with no intention of going.

What really *****es me off is I got an email from national Express offering me 'the chance' to win Portsmouth v WBA FA Cup semi final tickets. A joke.

mmmmm if its true then out come the fans that Pompey never knew they had.
28/03/2008 15:38:00
tommo not only didn't know they had but don't really want.

Dave............agreed mate.

Quite right Dave, but we all know that there wil be "supporters" ther who have not been all season, and manage to get a ticket from somewhere and take the partner for the day, it happened in 92 twice and it will happen again.

I think this is a bit of a no brainer really - It has to be a voucher gae surely.. If (when) we reach the final Pompey can hardly allocate tickets on the basis of who went to the semi it just wouldn't be fiar it could mean season ticket holders (of which I am) one having their allotted seat AND a chance of securing up to another four .. although that would obviously favour me I don't think it's right.. Surely with 25,000 for the final it can only be season ticket holders and club members (say 18,000) then general sale ..with ticket stubs from Wigan and Newcastle

i just dont think its fair that someone who might have only ever been to the wigan and/or newcastle game could then maybe be off to wembley for a final, should we make it... where's the justice in that, altho justice and fairness went out the window long ago in football really didnt it... im trying not to think about the 'final' yet tho, i just want the semi final here and sorted first!
