Knowing me, knowing you - The Ticketmaster

Knowing me, knowing you - The Ticketmaster
1 - Vital Pompey username?
The Ticketmaster.

2 - Where do you come from/where do you currently live?
I live in virtual world where the first thought that comes into my head is the one I act on and damn the consequences for anyone else.

3 - How long have you been a Vital Pompey member?
Vital Pompey? Is that the name the club will adapt if you get into Europe?
Vital Pompey 2, AC Milan 1. We've printed Portsmouth FC on the tickets?

4 - What do you think of Vital Pompey? Be brutally honest!
Excellent. We've sold loads of tickets off you lot so far.

5 - How did you find out about Vital Pompey?
I didn't, you approached me.

6 - When did you first watch Pompey live - not on box unless this is the only way you have been able to see them? Not necessarily at Fortress Fratton though.
I'm a long-term supporter. I came on board earlier this season when I realised Pompey weren't going to get relegated and I could sell loads of tickets off the back of your success. Now I'm a lifelong fan or will be until you get relegated.

7 - How often do you get to watch Pompey?
Watch Pompey? I don't know, I never go to concerts. I just sell tickets mate.

8 - Who is your favourite Pompey Player - current and/or former?
My favourite Pompey player is Peter Storrie. If it wasn't for him Pompey wouldn't have got promoted, be challenging for Europe, and what about his goal at Old Trafford that beat Manchester United in the FA Cup. I hope he scores the winner in the semi-final.

9 - What is you favourite Pompey moment?
When Peter Storrie gave us the contract to sell tickets for Pompey games I did a jig of delight. They say that football isn't about money but as far as I'm concerned it is.

10 - What are your realistic hopes for Pompey in the future?
Well if you win the semi-final, we can look forward to a great summer holiday off the back off selling Pompey fans FA Cup Final tickets. If you win the final, then there's the Community Shield and Europe. I'm already thinking up various phases for the tickets sales.

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

On this day in history...27th May

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 27th May.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
