Pompey 1 - Cardiff 1

Kanu back to haunt Cardiff once more

King Kanu was the goal hero once again as Pompey met Cardiff, no silverware on show this time, but the point saver was just as welcome.

Pompey gave a full debut to Erik Huseklepp, he was up fornt with Dave Kitson, while Joel Ward returned at right back in favour of Mokoena.

Joel Ward, did some good things, made a couple of errors too, but overall seemed to have more energy than most.

He takes a lot of stick about his age, but he can still teach the young uns a football lesson. Long may he reign...

I'm in the same boat Gandor, I used to be very critial of him, even after the cup final. He really does some amazing stuff though, but he is not suited to play against all opponents.
