Congrats Pompey!!!!
gunnerkid107
Oh and way to go King Kanu!!!
gunnerkid107
Well done to all of the players, management and staff at PFC. A great team effort. No MOTM or poor performances for me- everyone deserved a medal. I was pleased to see Harry let everyone he could get onto the pitch. I feel sad for Ashdown and Paramot not getting on but rules are rules- sometimes. I also feel for others who contributed during the season but did not make the final squad- particularly Davis who has been good all season. Again - WELL DONE.
frattonaussie
Well done, always nice to see that there are other teams who can win the major trophys.

Just woke up, staired at the celling when I was coming to....thought to myself.."damn..i need a cup of tea"..then "what shall I do today?" all within about 5 seconds, then it hit me....OMG...OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!..............we've won the FA cup...Pompey, my little old Pompey have won the FA cup!!!!!!!! I cant believe what im thinking!!!!!! when big Sol lifted that cup & we all went nuts I was close to tears!! Im dont know what else to say really, it was just one of the greatest feelings Ive ever had. I know I dont really need to say it, but we shouls savour this moment guys its soooo rare!...I just want to mention Diarra quickly, being the one I thought maybe a little less motivated than the others (only due to recent FA cup visits with Chelski & the gooners) was for deffinatley MOTM. He was chasing everything down, all of the time, I think he was pretty tired at the end, as he started to slow a little..but that little man is pure world class. Well, congratulations to the whole team, Harry, Sasha & of course..us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a day!!!!........time for that tea..

the post match celebrations in the dressing room say it all ... was great so see sacha and harry lift the cup at the end ... clearly delighted!!! for me charlie .... diarra was by the far the best ... sometimes overplayed but ***** me he ripped them apart so many times!!! well done to utaka who tricked the defender before his deadly cross! well done to kanu who looked like scoring more than once! well done to niko for trickery, well done to pedro for some immense passing, well done to distin and sol for covering (most of the time) any attacks, well done to johnson for picking up his game after a sketchy start, well done to Jamo for not falling asleep, well done to Muntari for sticking in some tackles, well done to nugent and baros who didnt have to do much but did enough, well dont to diop for not trying outrageous 69000 yard shots and lastly well done to hreidarsson for telling the ref exactly what 45000 people in the stadium thought and getting a stroppy yellow for this troubles! when sol went up to the lift the fa cup i was there i was there .... guys?! ... guess what ?! WERE ALL GOING ON A EUROPEAN TOUR :D
pompey--pessimist
plenty of positives today i fought diarra, mendes, distin, kranjcar, kanu were all oustanding yesterday.i feel mendes has to stay and so do nugent look good when he came on.Good to bring the cup back to where it belongs !!

Isn't it unbelievable! WOOHOO! Well done Arry and the lads you all deserve it! Perhaps the victory parade this afternoon will help it sink in thats its real!!!! I blubbed as soon as the final whistle went! Cardiff fans I met were great, people in London asking the score, wishing us luck before the game - everything about it was fab. WE WON THE FA CUP YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
tracyc

I'm going to keep my big gob shut in future and no - I won't utter or hear a word spoken against Kanu - I mean King Kanu - again, ever. They were all men of the match for me, and I thought it was fab the way Harry let as many players on as he could. Fabulous ALL fabulous, thoroughly enjoyed the game - had a ball! WHEN SOL WENT UP TO LIFT THE FA CUP - I WOS THERE, I WOS THERE! Am going to take a walk down to the Parade this afternoon - just finish things off nicely that will.

For me, one of the most moving things happened before the match, when Linvoy came over to our fans. For me Linvoy IS Pompey, and the fact thathe's winning his personal battle made his appearance on such a big stage so emotional.
pdm2007
Linvoy is a ledgend!!! we all cheered real loud when he lifted the cup!!!...& im def not writing him of this season, i recon keeping him on is just a good buisness decision, as it was a sentiment one! love him!
CharlieChimes
Diarra was the best player on the pitch!
merlin
Linvoy believes that a season out will add another to the end of his career.
eastneydave
We've all fckin' dun it. Too emotionally wrecked to say anything else. Forever Pompey.
storagematt
By the way, the T-shirts worked, a bloke came walking up the stairs wearing one. I asked him who he was, Pompey Half Pint he said!! Pleased to meet you mate!
pompey4me
diarra was awesome, but all the players did there bit and no one let us down. i thought nugent was fantastic when he came on and altho i still feel he might move on i hope we keep him... i was delighted that mendes started, even more so that he had such an impact on the game - if only he had played more this season!
pompeyrug
They were all outstanding. I agree about Nugent though - he looked really sharp for a change. Hope he stays and Harry gets the best out of him. Diarra was my MOTM.
NinjaTim
I am just speechless - still feel like I am in a dream world! It may take months for me to express myself properly!
sneakay
A huge turd has been dumped on the history of this once great cup. A team bankrolled by corrupt Russian blood money has by lifting the cup tainted the FA cup forever.
threestands
Er, thanks for your contribution threestands! I managed to get a ticket in the Cardiff end, and as I sat down rather sheepishly amongst the Cardiff supporters, to my surprise I discovered 10 other Pompey fans sat in the row behind me! By half time, we had all got brave enough to reveal our Pompey shirts, to mutterings of 'fair play lads, you've got some balls' - and when some Cardiff fans took the seats for the second half we told them this was the Pompey end! It was all good natured, and they were all very polite and gracious in defeat. All the Pompey fans in the Cardiff end all stayed behind to party like the rest - and there were a fair few of us! One of the greatest days of my life. Just Fan-bloody-tastic.
chasey
I would liken the day to your wedding day. You spend ages looking forward to it and then the morning arrives and before you know it, its gone. By the by, where was everyone. I went to the Torch wearing my Tee shirt but no one was there?
Gandor
Wow how quick did that go? love it
pompeyyong
Congratulations on winning the cup, been a tremendous season for you.
