The International break has finished and the serious stuff returns. Pompey's internationals have returned with a clean bill of health, so its virtuall a full strength side.
Pompey's run against the Champions league qualifiers comes to an end tomorrow, only 1 point out a possible 9 so far, and after Chelsea's performance the Arsenal one bought everyone back down to Earth.
Benjani and Campbell are both available again after their injuries, but they won't be joined by Primus who is still making his way back to full strength.
Niko Kranjcar will come back to us bouyed by his goal for his Country, and Papa Diop will be hoping for a first appearance in Pompey blue.
David James can pick the splinters out of his arse and take his rightful place between the sticks.
Sulley will need to be at his ball-winning best against a free passing side as Liverpool. Arsenal showed what they could do, now its Pompeys turn to stop the scouse tide.
Carragher returns after a broken rib, Gerrard has shown no ill effects from his toe injury, but Steve Finnan is a doubt.
He has already put to bed any doubts over his adaptability to the English game, and his undoubted quality in front of goal will prove a stern test.
A Pompey win at home last year against an under-strength Liverpool was followed by an Asian cup win, this makes us the form side!!
Mike(Lard)Riley, after leaving his radio show with Mark Radcliffe, he can now concentrate on his reffing.
I can feel a draw coming on, but place your thoughts here.
We stay in Lancashire with one at Blackburn, and then 2 days later at Burnley.
