Pompey hoping to trot off with the points at the Reebok.
Pompey look to close the year with another three points at Bolton, it will be a tough ask of the blues however as the trotters are no mugs.
Pompey will be loathe to see the back of 2006, a year which started with defeat to Blackburn, got better and better, starting with the great escape, and culminating with the current chase for Europe, 35 points nicely on the board and the best form in the top flight for some 50 years.
Davies returns from a ban, Diouf should be fit despite sore hamstring, Pedersen likely to slip to the bench
The England hopeful loves to score spectacular goals against the blues, his edge of the box volley proving the clincher at Fratton, and last seasons over-head kick at the Reebok spring to mind.
Kanu never flew North, so Benjani will start alone up-front, Fernandes likely to hang on to his place, Cole ready for a larger slice of the action, and Kranjcar will be hoping to figure a bit more than of late.
The only defender not to have found the back of the net so far, despite being the most forward minded, he'll be keen to change that statistic.
1-0 at Fratton is Pompey's only home defeat so far, revenge will be on the menu in the Pompey dressing room.
Defeat is the general outcome at the Reebok, although two seasons ago we came away with a win after 'out Boltoning Bolton'
