MK v Pompey

Pompey make a first trip to Milton Keynes this afternoon, back to back wins lifting spirits for this one.

Vital Quotes:

I've read a few quotes from Dean Lewington about this fixture, he seems a decent bloke, worth noting we're his comments on McLeod, he is still all time top scorer at MK, but a lot of their fans remember him as being a bit work shy and missing a far few, he stilled banged in 54 in a struggling team, maybe something some of our own fans should take note of?

MK Dons Team News:

MK will have a very familiar face in Scott Allan, he had a great loan spell here and has joined MK last week. Otherwise MK should be unchanged as they look to build on a solid start

Player to watch: Allan

We know what he can do, good player with good attitude

Pompey Team News:

Pompey will probably be looking to include Buzaky at some point, he may not play the full ninety as his fitness levels build, but expect to see some contribution today.

Daryl Russel is hamstrung, although Luke Rodgers has returned to training after his own tweak, he will probably have to wait to dislodge Wes Thomas and McLeod who are starting to gel.

Player to watch: McLeod

Players like to score against old clubs, izale has seemed to hit a bit of form as well, the goals are starting to come, coinciding with his increase in work rate!

Match Facts & Stats

A first fixture between the two!

I will be happy with a point. The betting odds also says I should be although you can't get the odds on a Pompey win I found on Monday. The bookies like some fans are starting to believe the team is coming together now.
