Pompey travel to Lancashire to have another go at the day job.
A welcome respite from financial wrong doings and money laundering at PFC comes upon us in the form of what we call football, this has taken a back seat for far too long now, the money men can argue all they like, they are all bent and in it for us much as they can individually get for themselves anyway, yes Mr.Administrator, you too, so sod the lot of them, lets sit back and watch the game we all love, no tax men will be on the pitch anyway, or 'owners' from far flung lands.
One welcoming face will be found in the shape of Lomano Tresor Lua Lua, he will remain a terrace hero for years to come for services rendered in a blue shirt, he has expressed his love for the star and crescent and even considers us to be 'his' club, nice sentiments.
Roman Bedner may well return after missing the game against West Brom because of the restrictions on loanees, he is contention with Lua to oust another loanee in Dicko from Wigan.
Keith Southern lokks like missing out after having stitches in a badly gashed ankle.
A bundle of tricks and great to watch on his day, hopefully he will be in a benevolent mood toward Pompey.
Still no Luke Varney as he takes an age to recover from a knee injury, David Norris is eligible after his ban but after a hernia operation will wait a little longer to return.
Ben Haim is the biggest worry with a hamstring twang, likely substitute Asam Webster has picked up a toe injury and will need an injection to contend.
He is one of the wolfpack that was widely courted by Ipswich, he has also been one of our players of the season.
Pompey have lost 21 times to Blackpool, winning 15, the last defeat however was in 1973, our latest triumph was back in September when a late, late Husklepp goal was the only goal.
Bernie Rhodes, so no arguing!
Stick your very bestest guess here.
