Pompey look to end a slump in form by tackling a Forest side on the cusp of the play-offs.
Forest of course will still be smarting after suffering defeat at Fratton at the tail end of a very profitable October, since then Pompey's form has slipped somewhat, the goals are flowing, wrong end though!
All the chat midweek has been football related for a change, SC has given Lampitt a list of 3 players he would like to bring in, plus a further loan, the loanee has of course arrived, this hopefully will give the side a lift and galvanise a collapsing defence.
Forest have no new injury worries, or suspensions for that matter, something Pompey can only dream of right now! Blackstock tore a cruciate a while back and will face a lenghty spell on the sidelines. Tudgay is available again after sitting out the cup game, otherwise it will be much of the same for what seems quite a settled first 11 at the moment.
At Fratton it was McGugan, the goals have dried up a little since then, but now Tudgay has signed and is finding the net, Pompey will have to be resolute all round to stop a side averaging two goals a game at home.
Pompey can welcome Ritchie de Laet from Manchester Utd on loan, this will give an almighty boost to a defence that would be shot if it were a dog. He is predominantly a left back, although centre back is not foreign to him, with Dickinson and Mokoena well out of form and Sonko struggling to even find some, any could give way. Halford is still banned after his red at Watford, this should see Ward safe, another option is for Mokoena to move forward to midfield, but let's face it, he is poo there.
Sc has indicated that Lawrence may shift inside when the time is right, but with Lynch looking the weakest link in the Forest side you feel this wont be the game.
Simply because we don't know what to expect!
Pompey won at Fratton of course, but did you know we have won our last 6 on the bounce against Forest?

Can Pompey keep their hoodoo up or will Forest smash it away? Place your theory here.

give me a point all day long, altho 'if' we can somehow find the way of defending again and taking chances, which i suspect we will create, you never know...
i did not go today, stayed at home in devon, but even i could see from here that we were dropping too deep and inviting too much pressure so chances were we would get punished.
having conceded the equaliser it was criminal that we kept doing this and then ended up getting nothing - gutted, but we brought it on ourselves, right?
