Pompey v Chelsea
Pompey entertain Chelsea again at Fratton, probablt for the last time in a while, we have had some success against the big 4 in our Premiership, but a solitary draw 2 years ago when Defoe was making his debut is testament to their domination over us.

Pompey have no fresh injury worries, it is very likely to be the same team that saw off Hull at the weekend, Finnan may well replace Mullins at right back, but the others surely justify keeping their places.

He is being courted by Derby once more, but his return to the team saw his debut goal, ther fans have taken to his eager running and will want him to succeed here at Fratton.

Petr Cech seems to have recovered from his recent injury, Ancelotti will no doubt see Fratton as the perfect place for his return. Ivanovic will be out after injuring his knee against Blackburn.

Absolutely loves Pompey, seems to score everytime we play them, I recall a goal in the rain last season.

Can't see us beating them unless it rains, FP was pretty cut up after the destruction of Dowdie at the weekend; so that could be a bit of a leveller

The weather forecast is for more rain. A dodgy pitch may help us a bit but to be honest we've usually lost these games by 2 or 3 nil & I can't see why that should change tonight. We have never been thrashed by Chelsea or even outplayed. They just take the few chances that come their way.

Don't even recollect a draw with Chelsea in the Prem. I believe we have lost EVERY game against them...

there was a definate 1-1 draw a couple of years back when defoe scored gray, other than that we have lost every time...

Look - lets be realistic, if pompey win this game or even draw, with the bones&spirit&manager, that still last in this club, it would be fecken big deal, big big deal. but more realistic idea, is that one of pompey fans, will just kidnap Drogba for today's game, or maybe you should hire him an "escort" or something. send a VIP Drogbit to Drogba, this may make the right vibration for Drogba and the right sensation for pompey.
