City will be looking to bounce back form wednesday's dissapointment at the hands of their neighbours by compounding Pompey's miserable week and season

Vital Quotes:

Pompey yet again had headlines all about finance rather than football, the club has been stripped still further of any talent with the departure of Kaboul, and with a Begovic move imminent, the mood can fall little further.

Man City Team News:

City will have no Robinho after he rejoined Santos back on home soil, while Adebayor who got the only goal at Fratton is available again after returning from a horrendous experience in Angola.
Viera is still unavailable for his debut, while Lescott and King scummer are both still absent.

Player to watch: Tevez

Predictable one really, his work rate is second to none and he has found the goalscoring form to back it up, not a bad combo.

Pompey Team News:

Pompey will have Ben Haim back from injury to replace fan's favourite Kaboul who has been sold to pay back the devil, while Begovic sits in the departure lounge with James, so back to Paddy Ashdown we turn in goal.
Nugent is available, but the only way he will be in Lancashire is to re-join Burnley.

Player to watch: Nelson

Our mascot has been in fine form of late and is the most consistent performer of the season, definite contender for player of the season.

why is it we seem to owe everyone and there dog for players but we dont seem to be due any installment payments for all the players that have departed fratton in the last 18 months going back to the sales of Muntari, Diara, Defoe, Johnson, Crouch, etc etc etc. It seems we are not due any money!!!!! Why is this did everyone else pay cash, i doubt it very much. Something seems very wrong. Although some players were sold for peanuts for cash.

Sorry but I must protest strongly at Nelson as player to watch. The idle mutt has missed a couple of home games this season. Why, you'd think he'd never got paid or something....
