Pompey welcome a team still hoping to catch the runaway juggernaut that is Man U, Hiddink has re-galvanised a team that was wobbling under the Brazilian regime.
Paul Hart is full of all the right quotes right now, he told Sky Sports
'Chelsea are very good. They have some world class players and we have to guard against that.
'But it is not like we are going to go out there and start putting up the shutters. When we can play we will play.
'You only have to look at last weekend's results to see some strange things can happen at this stage of the season.
'Fixtures change, the weather changes and players get tired. Titles are won and lost at this time of the year.'
Certainly what we as fans want to hear, but we will want the players to back up these words also, especially as the likes of Kranjcar has been biiging him self up in the press last week, results are what count, not words.
Pompey have no fresh injury worries going into the match, a repeat line-up looks likely, with Gekas maybe returning to the bench with Guy Whittingham's praise ringing in his ears. Nugent maybe pushed out wide once more, his work effort should be enough to give Utaka a chance to look in the mirror and see what he could achieve if only he could be arsed.
The 2 metre man has promised to fire us to safety, no time like the present Pete, if Miss Clancy dishes out her love every time you score, you will need bigger shorts soon!
Chelsea have rediscovered some of their old swagger once more, Beau's Grandad's Nephew has found his scoring touch from midfield, Drogba looks like the player from last season and Anelka has been banging them in all season, and to top it all Terry has found a liking from corners again, Pompeys 100% record against Chelsea will be the bookies favourites to carry on for another season at least.
Jamie's mum's, husband's nephew is back to his best and always, I mean ALWAYS scores against us.
No stats needed, they are the only 1 of the big 4 to consistently stuff us.
Rev. Al Green
Can Pompey break the Chelsea hoodoo? Or will it be business as usual as Chelsea look to cling onto Man U's coat-tails? Hedge a guess click here
