Pompey return to the rarest of kick-off times, three O'clock on a Saturday afternoon, they do so against a resurgent Bolton side who have made great strides in the past few weeks.
Lauren has done his best to stir the brown stuff, he know doubt knows he is off and thought he would mix it as much as possible before he departs.
To catch the irony in the situation, Gary Megson has been lamenting how he cannot compete with Pompey in the transfer market!
Pompey will step into Today's game on the back of a much needed and more than welcome win, and more importantly clean sheet against Heereneven, okay, the Dutch side came across as Championship standard at best, but the morale boost was the important thing.
Bolton have no new injury worries, Joey O'Brien and Tamir Cohen are still absent with thigh injuries, but it will be a settled side Pompey face at the Reebok.
Got to be Matty hasn't it? He was like a man possesed last year, shooting from all angles.
Pompey maybe able to welcome back Glen Johnson, the team will no doubt have wholesale changes to it, the big guns will be back after the Euro game on Wednesday, Diarra is fit, but I doubt he will feature for us again with a big move looming.
Utaka is still struggling with his hip-flexur strain, and Traore has a tight hamstring and may sit out as a precaution.
A lot of the rumours surround Defoe departing, how it has got to his head remains to be seen, he may feel Pompey are not right for him now he scoring again, but he has not looked completely on his game recently and a couple of goals and how he were to celebrate would answer a few questions.
Pompey did something in reverse last season, we were hammered and won 1-0! This was due to a heavily offside goal from Mr.Dijon himself if I recall.
Nate Morling (aged 3)
Are we a team on the verge of being torn apart? Or are we victims of a misguided media? Hedge a bet here.

ive gone for a 3-1 pompey win, but would take any win - a cleansheet would be fantastic too...
