Pompey get to wave goodbye to Europe tomorrow night, hopefully with a debut win over Dutch side Heerenveen.
Like Pompey, the Dutch lot are winless and have no chance of qualifying from the group, but surely no-one wants to finish bottom.
Johnny Metgod has indicated that his compatriots are a good footballing outfit, something you come to expect from the Dutch, but they have picked up from an awful domestic start to rise up their respective table.
Pompey have a squad of 22 to pick from theoretically, but Kaboul, Utaka and Diarra are all definitely out, so wholesale changes won't be quite possible.
Jamie Ashdown may get a rare run-out, and Marc Wilson must be in for a good shout of moving from unused substitute to actually playing.
Kanu should start also, but will it be Defoe or Crouch to partner him?
Hermann will probably also start, Belhadj has earned a rest and Sol will no doubt be hankering for a night off as well, the only shame is Nugent never got named in the squad by the previous manager.
Arnold is a good prospect, but wide right on Sunday he was bloody awful, this is his chance to prove he is a central man.
I won't lie, I haven't got a bleedin' clue about this lot, I looked through their squad list and was still none the wiser, Danijel Pranjic is the most familiar name, but will probably be rested in a dead rubber.
Once of Wednesday, and as I've heard of him gets my vote as danger man!
Pompey have never won in Europe, and we have never faced a Dutch side in competition, hopefully more than one of those stats will change tomorrow night.
Can Pompey keep an elusive clean sheet? Can we hold onto a lead?
