Pompey will be looking to bounce back after conceding 10 goals in a week to forget.
Pompey have been the whipping boys of late, the defence has more holes than the ozone, and our strikeforce more toothless than Shane McGowan.
Spurs managed a midweek win over Newcastle in the cup, but in the league they still seek a first win.
Before the City debacle you would have thought Pompey were going great guns, we looked full of ideas and energy, but with the flurry of games in the last 2 weeks that has disappeared, hopefully the few who were rested midweek will be full of running once more.
Pompey, yo owe me this one, it is not only my mums birthday, but the crappy kick-off time means my son misses playing for his u12 side as well, 3pts or else!
Diarra is our biggest doubt, the knock he took to the knee is still troubling him, I'm banking on Gary Sadler to be doing his magic hands routine on him.
Diop has popped a substantial hamstring, while Sean Davis has pulled his groin once again, a curse that kicks in whenever he establishes himself in the side.
Defoe will return against his old club, his partnership needs to be on-song this week. Kaboul will also feature if we go 3 at the back, a move which would re-ignite the left wing partnership of Traore and Belhadj.
Players always score against old clubs, and Defoe will have a point to prove against his old employers, so bank on him.
Spurs have no new injury worries, Darren Bent should return to partner Pavlyuchenko, while its up to Ramos if Lennon keeps out Bentley on the right, Bale seems to have made the left all his own.
Joked about getting 30 this season, but remains the biggest goal threat.
Spurs have the hex over Pompey, winning 6 of the last seven, Pompey have failed to score in the last 2.

the sun is out, the wind seems calm, i have a good feeling about today - so does my money, hence the bet i just placed... a clean sheet is a near must today, anything more is a bonus, i reckon - or is this hope - for a 2-0 win!
