What a challenge to take us into Christmas...

Victory at Shrewsbury might have been expected ahead of the season, but given the start Shrewsbury have made - albeit dipping off from an excellent start - it is far from a given.

Should we achieve a win on Saturday it 'might' prove we could be genuine play-off contenders in the New Year?

Disappointing defeat, they always are but it was what it was - would have been a clearer indication as to what we could have achieved if we got something, but hey ho.

Still, we bounced back well on Boxing Day.
