| For the past few days I've been getting 'timed out' when submitting posts and sometimes when changing threads.
Anyone else suffering this? |

| this 'time out' problem might occur today (thursday 1st november 2012) and tomorrow (friday 2nd november) with the move to the new server.
but from saturday 3rd (my birthday too!) vital pompey should be fast as fooook!

| sorry guys, PLEASE do be patient but there have been problems recently (not just on vital pompey, vital in general) and this might be the case for bit on and off.

There was a power failure of some sort at our servers base, hence the down time.
Pain this, nothing in 2 years now 2 incidents in as many weeks.
trust me i, well us at vital, are as frustrated as you guys (well more so) when this happens so like i say do be patient...

We are aware of issues on the forums/admin etc. We are working on it. Appreciate your emails telling us but as said, we are aware and working on it all.
Hope to get back to full speed as soon as possible.

Folks
We are slowly bringing the sites back up.
We believe (hope) the power outage yesterday caused a disk to corrupt. That should now have been repaired by our backups.
If it isn't that, it will be back to the server specialists but fingers crossed.
