Merse back at Pompey for the evening

Paul Merson returns to Fratton Park this week - Wednesday February 6th - as a guest of honour for a Sportsman's Dinner.

The event takes place in The Victory Lounge and you not only have an evenings entertainment from the former Pompey captain and inspirational driving force behind our promotion to the top fight, you also get a champagne reception and a 3 course meal.

There will also be a sporting memorabilia auction, with the proceeds going to the 'we can make dreams come true' charity, which is Pompey's very own charity.

The evening runs from 7.30pm - 11pm, with Dinner served at 8.30pm. Tickets cost £49, but it would appear money well spent.

To book or enquire about the event call the sales team on 023 9277 8555 or 023 9273 1204, or you could simply visit the Portsmouth FC head office reception in Rodney Road during office hours.

Top bloke, forever grateful for his efforts in that great season. However what an addition he would be to our current midfield.

just imagine eh matt, that would be a fantastic addition to an already fantastic midfield! it would be even more frightening for opponents, and give 'arry even more of a headache in his selection...
pompeyrug
Mind you he'd have to lose a pound or 30. (Weight not money).

i see merson as a fat kranjcar. especially with the hair in that pic up there...

a great player for both the Gunners and Pompey .. shame he left the way he did... If anybody goes (or knows anybody that is) let us know what it was like... I've been to a few of these things Alex Stepney.. the only helsea goalkepper never to have conceded a goal ! and Steve "I'm no more interesting than a pint of sparkling water" Perryman.. Some are good some bad but most are or a good cause...
